Your way in
You receive an invitation email from Cybelia Cloud. It contains a link asking you to choose your password. That link works once and then expires: if it has been sitting too long, ask for another, that is not a mistake on your part.
Choosing a password that holds
The best password is not the most twisted one, it is the longest. Three or four unrelated words beat a clever word followed by an exclamation mark. And above all: this one must not be used anywhere else.
Two-step verification
Under My account you can turn on two-step verification: after the password, Cydoo asks for a six-digit code generated by your phone. If someone guessed your password, they would still be missing your phone.
Turn it on for accounts that touch money, management and invoicing. Farida and Camille have it; it took them two minutes.
The support behind it: lost password, a code that no longer works, a new phone, write to support from the website, or through the help form in your workspace. We restore your access once we have checked it really is you.
From the workshop, from home
The same address works from any browser: the workshop machine, the office computer, a tablet. There is nothing to install. Your rights follow you: Yanis sees the same orders from the workshop tablet as from the office desk.
One account per person, never a shared one. This is not about mistrust: it is what makes it possible to know who changed what, and to give each person the view that suits them. A "workshop" account used by four people helps nobody the day an entry needs explaining.
In closing
A long password, used for Cydoo and nowhere else, and two-step verification on the accounts that handle money: that is all we ask, and it is enough to keep out most nasty surprises. The rest is our job.
