The question people ask too late
"Can we recover a message deleted last year?" is generally asked on the day it is needed. The answer is yes, and here is how it is arranged.
Three safety nets
The first is you: a deleted message goes through the bin and stays there about a month. A simple drag brings it back. That net catches nine incidents out of ten.
The second is the service backup: your messages, calendars, contacts and files are copied regularly, and those copies are kept. They allow a whole mailbox to be restored after a serious incident.
The third is targeted recovery: Cybelia support can go into the backups for particular messages, from a date and a keyword, without having to restore everything.
What is not covered
The backup protects against a failing disk, a folder deleted by mistake and a serious incident. It does not protect against a quote sent to the wrong customer: there, it is reading it over before sending that does the work.
What Cybelia does if you lose something: open a ticket stating the period and what you are looking for, even roughly. We look into the backups and tell you what can be recovered before undertaking anything.
In closing
The question always comes up on the day you need it, and the answer is yes. Three successive safety nets mean a message deleted by mistake can be recovered, even long afterwards.
