"Administration" section
Opening an account for a colleague takes a minute. Doing it properly, with the right permission level, takes the same minute, and saves plenty of questions later.
Creating an account
You enter the email address, the name, and the permission level. The person receives an invitation and chooses their own password: you never have to send a password by email, which is a good practice in itself.
Three levels, three uses
| Level | For whom |
|---|---|
| Read-only | See the screens, download reports, change nothing. Jean's level in the workshop. |
| Standard | Handle alerts, declare exclusions, launch checks. Marie's level. |
| Administrator | All of the above, plus managing accounts, the contract and the companies. Camille's level. |
Two administrators, never just one. The day the only administrator is on holiday, or leaves the company, nobody can open an account any more. Two is the right number: neither fragile nor scattered.
Removing an account
The most important action on this page, and the most often forgotten. When someone leaves the company, remove their access the same day. The removal is traced in the audit log, which proves, should you ever be asked, that what was needed was done in time.
Every creation and every removal leaves a line in the audit log, with the date and the author.
