An address, a username, a password
Open your usual browser and go to the address Cybelia Cloud gave you when your service was opened. Bookmark it on day one: it is the front door, and you will come back to it every morning.
Your username is your full address, farida@vent-douest.fr and not merely farida. The password is the one you chose at first sign-in. Click Sign in: your mail appears.
The second check
If your company has asked for it, a second screen requests a six-digit code after the password. That code lives in an application on your phone and changes every thirty seconds. It is what makes a stolen password insufficient to read your mail.
You may declare your office computer a usual one: it will then stop asking for the code every time, for a period your company decides. On a shared or borrowed computer, never do this.
Signing out
Top right, your initial opens a menu containing Sign out. On your own machine this is not essential. On a shared computer, in the workshop or at a customer's, it is the only gesture that truly closes your mailbox.
Your password is never lent, not even to a trusted colleague, not even for five minutes. If someone must read your mail while you are away, the right answer is delegation, explained further along this course.
In closing
Bookmark the address on day one and you will never look for it again. If the password resists, the reset is there to be used, and nobody will hold it against you.
Commenting is not enabled on this course.
