The morning screen
This is the first thing you see when you come in. It answers a single question: is everything all right this morning?

What it tells you
At the top, three tiles: how many databases are active, how many people use the tool, and the state of the last backup. Below, the list of your databases with, for each, the date of its last backup and its state.
The backup tile is the most important thing on this screen. As long as it is green, a copy of last night's data exists somewhere other than here. That is your safety net.
What is a database?
A database is a binder: it holds all your customers, quotes, invoices and items. Les Ateliers have three, the everyday one, a copy for trying things out safely, and last year's archive kept because the law asks for it.
The support behind it: backups run automatically every night without you having to think about it, and one copy leaves the building. If a tile turns red, Cybelia sees it at the same time you do, often sooner.
Why these figures
The dashboard does not show everything Cydoo knows: it shows what calls for a decision today. A backup that is up to date asks nothing of you; a late invoice does. That is why the green indicators simply sit there while the amber ones catch the eye.
If a figure surprises you
Every tile is clickable and leads to the list behind it. A total that puzzles you is never a black box: two clicks show the documents underneath, and where the difference comes from.
In closing
The dashboard is not read, it is glanced at. Three seconds in the morning is enough: if the backup tile is green and no database is in alert, you can get on with your real day.
