Watching the watcher
You watch your timber, your workshop and your machines. Cybelia Cloud watches the tool that watches them. They are two different jobs, and the second one is not yours.
What Cybelia Cloud watches, that you never see
That the platform answers, day and night. That readings really are arriving, and that no gateway has gone quiet. That alarm emails actually leave, a notification that is not sent is as serious a failure as a dead sensor. That backups run, and above all that they can be read back: a backup nobody has ever tried to restore is not a backup.
That work has no screen at your end. You see it in the fact that nothing surprises you.
The division of roles, in one sentence. You decide what normal means in your trade, the thresholds, the recipients, the priorities. Cybelia Cloud makes sure the tool tells you. Neither of us does the other's job.
What Cybelia Cloud does not do
Cybelia Cloud does not watch your kiln for you. Nobody here looks at your curves on a Sunday in order to ring you. It is the tool that warns you, not a person: that is why it works at three in the morning, and that is why a rule's recipients must be kept up to date.
Nor does Cybelia Cloud change your thresholds on its own initiative. If we think a setting is working against you, we say so; you decide.
Updates
The tool evolves, and it does so without disturbing you. There is nothing for you to download and nothing to install: you reopen the page and it is up to date. Your rules, your dashboards and your history come through updates untouched.
In closing
You watch your workshop, we watch the tool that watches it. Those are two different jobs, and the second has never had to become yours.
