Three areas, and that is all
You land on Chat, and that is where you will spend most of your days. Everything else is reached from the left-hand column.
Three zones, three uses
- On the left, navigation: your conversations, and the other screens. What you see there depends on your role, a short menu is not a broken menu.
- In the middle, the conversation. You write there, you read there, you attach files there.
- On the right, what surrounds the answer: the sources retrieved, the means used. This is the panel that turns a plausible answer into a verifiable one.
On a narrow screen the right-hand panel tidies itself away and the conversation takes the whole width. Nothing is lost: a button reopens it, and the choice is remembered on that device. Yanis, on the workshop phone, never sees it; Camille, on her large screen, never closes it.
The vocabulary to know
- A thread (or conversation): an exchange about one subject.
- A folder in the Workshop: several threads that belong together, with a shared memory.
- A document: what the company files and the AI will read.
- A source: the precise passage of a document used to answer.
- An artefact: a file it produced for you.
These five words cover three quarters of the tool. The rest is learned by using it.
In closing
You will spend ninety per cent of your time in the central area. The left-hand column is a cupboard: you open it the day you are looking for something specific, and close it straight away.
