"Email security" page
Nine attacks out of ten start with an email. Not a spectacular one: a fake invoice, a fake message from the boss, a link that looks like the bank's. This page shows what was intercepted before it reached the mailboxes.
What each line tells you
The sender, the recipient, the subject, the time received, a threat score from 0 to 100, and above all the action taken. Three possible actions: quarantined, deleted, or simply flagged without being removed.
Reading the score without worrying
| Score | Reading |
|---|---|
| ≥ 40 | Suspicious. Often clumsy advertising. |
| ≥ 70 | High. The mail was probably set aside. |
| ≥ 90 | Critical. It never reached you. |
Clicking a line, the detail explains why: a sender impersonating someone else, a dangerous attachment, a link to a site known for trapping people.
A quarantined mail is not lost. If Farida really was expecting that invoice, the line says so and the mail can be retrieved. Quarantine is a waiting room, not a bin.
The useful action
Once a week, glance at the last seven days' lines. You will mostly see crude attempts, already stopped. Five minutes that reassure, and that teach you to recognise the tricks.
If the page stays empty, the connection to your mail system has not been set up yet: Cybelia Cloud handles that with you, and the page says so.
In closing
Nine attacks out of ten start with a message. What this page intercepts never reaches the mailboxes; what still gets through is caught by a trained team, hence the lesson on awareness.
