The problem before

In many companies the quote lives in a spreadsheet, the invoice in another piece of software, the stock in a notebook, and the customer's details in the inbox of whoever met them. Each of these tools is right on its own. Together, they contradict each other.

The cost is not the software: it is the time spent copying things across, and the mistakes that copying brings. A price changed on the quote but not on the invoice. An address that is current in one place only. An item sold twice because the stock was not known.

What Cydoo changes: information is entered once and everyone works from it. The quote becomes the order, which becomes the delivery note, which becomes the invoice, with no re-entry.

What that looks like in practice

At Les Ateliers du Vent d'Ouest, Marie enters the customer once when they call. Jean finds that same record in the workshop to prepare the delivery. Camille sees the month's figures without having to ask anyone. That's all it is, and it is already a great deal.
