What the Bouclier has done for you
At the top of this screen four figures sum up your last thirty days, and a bar shows the proportion set aside. It is the answer to Camille's question: "is this worth anything?"
Eleven messages received, six delivered, two held,
three dangerous. Forty-five per cent set aside.
How to read those four numbers
Messages received is the total presented to the gateway. Delivered to your inbox is what carried on. Held is what awaits your decision in quarantine. Dangerous, discarded is what carried a virus: that one does not wait for your decision.
These figures are yours alone. Farida's and Yanis's have nothing to do with them, and nobody sees anyone else's.
Choosing when the Bouclier writes to you
Below, you set how often the report comes: every day, every Monday, or never. "Never" is a legitimate choice — the portal stays available whenever you want. Tom, who gets little mail, chose Monday. Farida gets hers every morning at 8.
What the report contains
The list of what has been held since the previous one, and a link to the portal. The report itself allows nothing: releasing a message requires signing in. If the report falls into the wrong hands, it gives access to nothing.
A held count of zero is not a failure. It means nothing doubtful reached you over the period. That is good news, not a malfunction.
